Steve has worked in taxation for over thirty five years. He joined the HM Revenue & Customs when he was nineteen on a self-employed section. Steve qualified and became a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians in 1999. He deals with all aspects of direct taxation compliance, HMRC enquiries and investigations, he also advises clients on tax mitigation.
Crossing swords with HMRC when dealing with tax enquiries. I enjoy the cut and thrust of trying to mitigate a client’s tax position when taking an opposing view from that of a HMRC Officer.
If I wasn't doing this: Hillwalking in The Lakes and travelling to places further afield.
