Julie Green

Julie is an Associate Director based at our Leicester office and has worked in VAT since joining HMRC in 2004. Julie has experience of providing bespoke consultancy on the full range of VAT technical matters with a special interest in land and property transactions. Julie also has experience in HMRC disputes and has successfully represented a number of clients in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

What do you like most about your job? I enjoy making VAT understandable to clients and identifying solutions which work for a business as well as being compliant with the complexities of VAT regulations.

If I wasn't doing this I'd be:  Running (I have completed 2 marathons in addition to the 2024 London marathon)

Favourite Sports person: Eliud Kipchoge - the first human to break the 2 hour marathon barrier!

Dream location:  I lived in Ghana after university whilst volunteering at a school and I would love to go back!
