On returning from working over seas for many years and due to my lack of accounting knowledge & my previous Accountant (mistakes) I had come home to an unwanted tax bill. But Thankfully (Sajida) using her knowledge and expertise was able to rectify the mistake that was made by my previous accounts and have the HMRC cancel the tax bill that I had received. to which I am very grateful. I would highly recommend H & W and they are now my only accountants I will use going forward.

Katherine, an ICAEW chartered accountant, initially joined Haines Watts as an Accounts Senior, and since then has been promoted to the role of Production Manager. Katherine brings a wealth of experience, having worked with a diverse range of clients on both accounts and audit engagements, including clients from various sectors such as charities, academies and solicitors.
What do you enjoy most about your job: Problem solving, and building rewarding, long-term relationships with clients.

Julie is our Office Manager and has been with Haines Watts since June 2019. She has a PA/Secretarial background with over 30 years experience gained from within the railway industry before joining Haines Watts. She now enjoys the varied role that being Office Manager brings; key roles being front of house reception, meeting and greeting visitors and all office administration duties.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Meeting and greeting clients and building relationships both internally and externally.
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: Off walking in the Derbyshire Dales or out socialising with friends!

Beccy joined Haines Watts in 2012. She is AAT qualified and has 15 years of accounts experience. Her role includes preparation and completion of limited company accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts.
What do you enjoy most about your job? I like chatting to clients and building relationships. I also like feeling useful so I love it when I can help a client. Last of all, I love a bit of problem solving, give me a messy SAGE job to tidy up and I am happy!
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: Somewhere hot, by the sea with my son and partner.
Dream Location: New York, but only in the summertime when the weather is hot!
Sajida is a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance graduate and also ATT qualified. She has been working in general practice in the field of Tax since 1998. She joined Haines Watts as Tax Senior in October 2019 and her role involves preparing Tax Returns and P11D's.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Working with large a variety of clients and assisting them to minimise their tax liabilities.

Connor is AAT qualified, with several years' experience working within accountancy and audit having worked in a variety of different sectors, from larger groups to charities.

Hamza is an experienced payroll professional, qualified to AAT Level 3. He has worked in a variety of accountancy roles and has a good general knowledge of the profession a whole.
Hamza's role is to assist and support our clients with the end to end processing of their payrolls and is on hand to deal with any queries they may have on a day to day basis.
What do you enjoy most about your job? I love working in payroll because every day brings a new challenge. It's not just 'pressing the button' once a month - it's about giving support to employees, providing business insights with data analysis, it's finding new ways to work and making it the finest services possible.

Eloise has over 5 years' experience working in payroll alongside running her own business as a personal trainer. Diane works part time, acting as a credit controller for the business. She is responsible for preparing and submitting any Statutory documentation for companies and also assists with any administration as required.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Speaking to our clients and building a relationship with them all, even if I am chasing them for money! Being in the office with colleagues.
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: Out running, walking or golfing!
