Haines Watts Update

07 September 2023

It's business as usual

Following news of the imminent departure of a number of the Haines Watts practices, it’s business as usual for the rest of the Haines Watts national network.

The practices staying under the Haines Watts umbrella are:

Finchley (London), Reading, High Wycombe, Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Derby, Ashby, Leeds, Norwich, Leicester, Manchester, Hull, Liverpool, Launceston, Chester, Skegness, Diss, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Swindon, Grimsby, Bristol, Wirral, Trowbridge, Stirling, Darlington, Exeter, Nottingham, Doncaster, Aylesbury, Scunthorpe, Colchester, Okehampton, Cirencester, Portishead, Kirkcaldy, Bedford, Great Yarmouth, Crediton, Salford, Altrincham, Berkhamsted, Wokingham.

For all our valued clients who work with us, it is business as usual.

Consolidation in our sector is common and ongoing. As one of the UK’s top 20 accountancy firms, Haines Watts has evolved through both acquisition and departures over its 90+ year history and this will no doubt continue into the future.

The transaction has been mutually agreed between the outgoing senior leadership team and the incumbent Haines Watts board members and both parties will be working closely together to ensure a smooth transition with little or no impact on our client service.

Donna Bulmer, Group Chair, Haines Watts says: “It’s business as usual for all our Haines Watts firms and our priority remains to be the preferred and trusted partner of choice for our portfolio of aspirational business owner clients across the country.

“I believe that change always offers opportunities and I’m incredibly excited about the emerging prospects for Haines Watts. As a progressive, curious and people-focused business Haines Watts has ambitious growth plans harnessing both organic growth and an active acquisition strategy.”

We wish the colleagues who are leaving us the very best for the future.
