Key dates
January 2010
19th: PAYE and CIS quarterly payment date for small employers and contractors.
PAYE/NIC due for the month to 5 January 2010.
31st: Balance of your 2008/09 income tax due, plus first payment on account for 2009/10 (interest will run on any payments due and not paid).
Filing date for Corporation Tax Return Form CT600 for period ended 31 January 2009.
Deadline for submitting your 2008/09 income tax self assessment return (up to £100 penalty if your return is late).
February 2010
1st: Due date for payment of Corporation Tax for period ended 30 April 2009.
2nd: for submitting P46(car) for employees whose car/fuel benefits.
19th: PAYE/NIC due for month to 5 February 2010.
28th: Filing date for Corporation Tax Return Form CT600 for period ended 28 February 2009.
5% penalty surcharge on any 2008/08 outstanding tax due on 31 January 2010 still remaining unpaid.
