Filing date for Corporation Tax Return Form CT600 for period ended 30 April 2008. May 2009 1st: Due date for payment of Corporation Tax for period ended 31 July 2008. 3rd: Last day for notifying car changes in quarter to 5 April - P46 (Car). 19th: Last day for filing forms P14, P35, P38, and P38A - 2008/09 PAYE returns, without incurring penalties. 31st: Last day to issue 2008/09 P60s to employees. If your computer takes a long time to boot up in the morning. It's common to find a lot of software starts up automatically on boot-up, often unnecessarily. Look in the start menu under the 'start up' folder. Any programs in here are automatically running when you log into the computer, so remove anything unnecessary by deleting the item. Some programs run automatically using the Windows registry, which can be a little more complex to deal with. If you are confident with computers, click start and run (XP) and type in MSCONFIG, then click OK. Click on the Startup Tab, and disable any items that you recognise as unnecessary. This utility is very powerful, so take appropriate care and if unsure, do not save your changes. For further information contact HW Technology.
