HW Expense Control was founded in 2006 and is the specialist costs-audit division of Haines Watts.

We are dedicated to reducing the overhead costs of Haines Watts' clients by means of an extensive knowledge and understanding of supply markets across a wide range of goods and services. Results in the form of substantially reduced costs and enhanced service levels, combined with guaranteed product quality, are delivered rapidly and efficiently through our two services: the Purchasing Pool and the Forensic Service.

Due to the considerable aggregated spend levels we are able to guarantee them through our Purchasing Pool, HW Expense Control has negotiated exclusive supply agreements with a number of highly-reputed companies across the most common overhead spend categories, from office supplies to utilities. We also enjoy privileged access to senior procurement specialists  from a wide range of industry backgrounds in support of our Forensic Service activities.

We have sales and support offices throughout the country. Our client relations managers, whose role it is to ensure that projects are delivered to specification and on time, are based at strategic locations in the UK, so as to ensure the provision of local support to specific projects. Our management team has a wealth of business experience, not only in the procurement environment, but also as a result of many years of experience at board level positions in a range of major organisations.
